Dr. Karen Pinochi

Veterinarian

Meet Dr. Karen Pinochi

Dr. Karen Pinochi earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University in 2020, where she developed a strong passion for mixed animal medicine and caring for animals of all sizes. She enjoys the variety that mixed animal practice offers, from helping beloved family pets to providing care for horses and livestock that are essential to rural communities.

Prior to attending veterinary school Dr.Pinochi originally went to school to be a paramedic.  During her schooling she quickly realized her love for medicine but didn't feel like she was 100% in the right field. After extensive deliberation she realized animals were her passion and she wanted to spend her life caring for and helping animals live their best lives. She is committed to building lasting relationships with her clients by providing compassionate, practical, and high-quality veterinary care tailored to each animal and family's needs.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Pinochi gained valuable experience in both mixed animal and emergency medicine, strengthening her skills in preventive care, surgery, internal medicine, and urgent medical cases. She believes in educating pet owners and livestock producers so they can make informed decisions about their animals' health.

As the owner of a mobile mixed animal veterinary practice, Dr. Pinochi is passionate about bringing convenient, personalized veterinary care directly to the communities she serves. Whether she's treating a family dog, examining a horse, or caring for a herd of cattle, her goal is to provide thoughtful, dependable care with kindness and professionalism.

When she's not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Pinochi enjoys spending time with her husband and children, caring for their homestead, gardening, riding horses, and making memories with her family in rural Kansas.

Faith Wary, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Faith has been working in the veterinary industry for 10 years and earned her RVT degree from WSU Tech in 2019. She spent several years working in emergency medicine at a busy veterinary hospital in Wichita, where she gained invaluable experience caring for critically ill and injured pets. In fact, that's where we first met! In 2023, she transitioned into general practice, where she continues to provide compassionate, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Ever since she was a little girl, Faith has had a deep love and fascination for animals and the world around them. Growing up in the country, some of her favorite pastimes included searching for insects, exploring nature, and trying to befriend every neighborhood cat that wandered by.

Her own furry family began after getting her first dog, a Lab mix named Bindi. Not long after, she met her husband, Stephen, and together they have grown their family to include five beloved furry companions.

One of Faith's greatest passions is rescue work, especially caring for neonatal puppies and kittens and the most critical patients in need. She has a special place in her heart for giving the smallest and sickest animals a fighting chance.

When she's not caring for patients, Faith enjoys taking her dogs on trail walks, reading a good book outside, and soaking up the sunshine.

Faith's knowledge, kindness, and genuine compassion for both animals and their people make her an incredible part of our team. We are so grateful to have her with us and can't wait for all of you to get to know her!
